`super blue` moon:
Wednesday evening saw the rise of the much-anticipated `super blue` moon just after sunset, although this was shrouded on and off at my location by thin cloud. I did however manage to get just a few shots of it at the important stage of coming up over the distant hills. For perspective, the top of the hills in this image are probably about 3 miles “as the crow flies”, and the foreground light was getting dark very quickly due to heavy cloud blocking out the last of the evening light behind me.
Although to me it`s more of a record shot, thanks to Kelsey Redmore of ITV Wales Weather who used it on her Wales at Six weather forecast.
Thanks also to all those who have “liked”, “retweeted” or replied saying they like the image. Much appreciated.
